I seen too many accidents where all that is left at the accident scene are the shoes. I don’t think shoes are the best place to put a RoadID.
I have the ankle one, with:
Name
Address
Home #
Wife’s Cell#
and OHIP # (health insurance #)
My only critique is that occasionally if I am wearing low socks, the edge of the strap can chaffe/cut in on my ankle.
I frankly think that next to a helmet, the Road ID is one of the best safety devices cyclists and runners can have, next to a cell phone. I even wear my when I do OW swims up at the cottage.
