I got a 2006 Felt B2 size 52 that I put road bars on and been using as a trainer bike. Looking to build up a road bike for training and races. I could do ranother Felt bike possible a 54, but I was curious to know if anyone knows of frames with similar geometry.
Why would you want a frame with tri geometry to build up as a road bike?
I purchased a new B2 Tri bike and figured I’d put road bars on the 2006 B2 and use it for training. Been using it like that for almost a year and now I want a Road frame.
There are a million road frames out there. Start with what geometry you like, then find a budget, then go from there. Narrow it down based on whatever (color, looks, availability, name) after that. Then attempt to test ride if you can.
If your local bike shop carries Felt for example, the F1SL is a nice bike, but the AR was not (at least on my test ride). You may find otherwise.
A new bike will make you ‘faster’ if you love it since you will want to ride her a lot. Simple as that. So don’t discount the emotional component of buying one that YOU like
