Riding/Running in Maui

I’m headed to Maui on Friday for a week, road bike in tow (no need to feel sorry for me). Can anyone suggest some good rides and run routes? We’re staying in Wailea.

Thanks!

I did wailea drive to south kihei road and the entire beachfront quite regularly.

It’s a little out of your way but the West Maui Loop is the coolest ride on Maui. It is approx 100K & I prefer to ride it clockwise.

Don’t do this, it is “Oprah’s road” we got busted half way up, and were asked to turn around,

Epic ride, east Maui loop. 16km of bomb shell pavement and gravel, took us 8 hours. We are about 5:30 IM bikers. Don’t do this unless you are super fit, leave early and have at least 3 tubes and maybe even a spare tire.

Haleakala. Bring water.

I’m back to the rainy/cold west coast but riding and running in Maui was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
