I am in and very excited.I have not done a REV3 event either. In fact, I have never done a “corporate” race. Wildflower and Gulf coast are my biggest races to date. Mostly just local stuff.
Wifey and I have rented a dive on the beach less than a mile from Sharky’s.
We get down there on Sunday and won’t come back til Tuesday night. It will be my last race of the season, so the beer will start flowing the second I cross the finish line.
I’ll be there. My second Rev3 after Anderson next weekend. I’m pretty excited about it; looks like a very cool race.
Yep, I’m in. Looking forward to it. Hopefully the temps are a little lower by then and the swim may be wetsuit legal! I live in Tampa so will be driving down the morning of.
I’ll be coming over from Ft Lauderdale on Friday night. I’m not to familiar with the Gulf water temps, but it’d be nice if it was wetsuit legal. We got about 3 weeks so lets hope the temps
Last year the temps were just wetsuit legal on October 22nd in the Fort Desoto area about an hour North of Venice. It will be touch and go I think.

I’m in. I wish they would post the schedule. I have family coming into town that weekend and need to figure out when things are going down.

I’m in as well, 4th Rev3 event for me. I’m a fan. Hopefully a friendly Gulf swim on race day. Will have to wait and see.

red tide could be a issue to

I spoke to someone from Rev 3 yesterday and they said its still about 6 miles west and 1 mile south of the swim. The wind is taking it south but who knows what could happen by race day.
I live in venice and there is no red tide their. I would guess not wet suit legal either.
you are going to be amaze when you see the bike racks in transition. very cool racks rev3 uses.
Apparently water temp this AM was 78 Degrees, jsut posted on Rev3 website.
May be wetsuit legal after all. (I am sure they will find a nice colder spot on race morning!!!)
