Just in case anyone cares to see it. I noticed that they posted the course overveiw video to their site.
The course looks pretty nice. Thats a crazy pro field too. At one point in one of the videos they say the athletes will have the “option” to wear a tracking device. Does that mean we’ll have to pay extra for one? Ill lay off my criticism of that until I hear its true! This is a really expensive race.
Well, given that the trakkersgps website still says “coming soon” we’ll see if it is even an option…
Here we go again. The statement in the video meant that if you dont want to wear one, you dont have to. You will not be forced to wear one and either will the pro’s. Trakkers and the amusement park are part of your race fee. Why so much hate from the Mooseman die hards? While we are talking about Mooseman, you should check out their course overview, its awesome.
The Old-Skool Pat Griskus Tri is held up there and the bike course is super-hilly. Although Rev3 and P-Griskus are different courses the do share some secitons and that whole area of CT full of climbs.
The video was nice. I did Nutmegman 1/2 last fall. Same host hotel, very similar area and very hilly, but thats New England. Can’t wait for the race. Neither can the kids, they will actually have something to do while I race.
