Retrofitting Scicon Aerocomfort 2.0 Bag For Disc Brakes

Has anyone retrofitted their Scicon 2.0 bag for disc brakes? I was looking at ordering the 3.0 Boomerang and T-Bar, but not sure if those would work with the 2.0 or what other parts would be needed. Links to those parts are below.

Scicon Sports | Front fork mount boomerang Aerocomfort 3.0 - TP101105604

Scicon Sports | Rear Mount t-Bar Adapter Aerocomfort Bike Bag - TP101105606

Any assistance would be apricated!

I’m looking into this myself…I was gong to try using the thru axle adapter that I got for using my Wahoo kickr…same idea.

As far as the parts you were looking at…the front might work if the width measurements are the same as the 2.0 but the back…unless your bag is different than my circa 2017 bag…the back is welded onto the frame.

I asked customer service at Scicon why they can’t just sent us the newer frame that sits in the bag…it’s really annoying the idea of having to buy an entire new bag just to accommodate a thru axle.

Works as advertised. Had the files 3D printed at a local shop for $25 all in. Saved an arm and leg for the 3.0. Lol

Great!
I’m glad to hear it worked fro you.

Bumping this up to see if anyone else has found a solution.

I have the 2.0, but just got a new disc brake bike I need to travel with.

Hello everyone,

Many thanks for the help so far !!

I also printed the pieces. The front part needs a little bit of sanding to make it fit.

I cannot figure out how the rear part works… Any chance you could explain us in a bit more details the order of the pieces, please ?

Many thank,
