Resistance is futile

So I am trying to get below 190lbs, for the first time in 30 years, before IMMOO. Things are going good and I am on track. Yesterday all I had to eat before my long run was a tunafish sandwich. I do a 14 miler w/2 gus after work, get home and find the wife had gone to the store and left a 20oz package of milk chocolate covered almonds on the kitchen counter.

BABA BING BABA BOOM, my diet was DOOMED! (ahhh, but I’ve never tasted anything so GOOD after a long run, especially with a COLD beer chaser).

what I started doing… is eating them on the bike! GENIUS. F*$% gels… take that special treat you like and stuff in your jersey pockets… eat so much of it on the bike that you dont want it when you come home.
