My name is Brooke, and I am a doctoral candidate at ASU, completing a PhD in Exercise & Nutritional Sciences. I am recruiting for my dissertation study examining the effect of New Zealand blackcurrant on intestinal permeability and discomfort with runners in the heat. Our lab is located at the ASU Health Futures Center in North Phoenix (next to the Mayo Clinic Hospital), and I will be conducting this study using our environmental heat chamber to simulate warm (95 F) Arizona temperatures. It will involve three visits to the lab, and in return for completing all visits, participants will receive $100 in Amazon gift cards and the results from their VO2 max and lactate threshold tests (a $250 value). I am looking for 6 more participants to complete my study. The industry partners that have supplied products to us for my study are NeverSecond and CurraNZ, which you may already be familiar with.
You can learn more about me and our research lab at Integrative Human Performance Lab(https://www.integrativehumanperformancelab.com/).
