Report on cool bikes here at Hawaii

I got imported to be a mechanic for IMH this year. I am working with the guys from Inside Out Sports and B&L. The hospitalilty is great.

I have seen a few cool bikes. There have been no major mechanical issues that the snappy team assembled here could not handle. Andy from HED wheels and Jim from Zipp have stepped up a few times and handled any wheel issues.

The waves are up in the harbour and folks are waiting at the door to get their tires glued. I will give a short report after the race…Macca is my call for 1st overall.

Scott Molina made a comment on his race-week diary on Gordoworld.com about Brian Rhodes’ new Cervelo that everyone is drooling over… did Rhodesy get himself hooked up with a p3 carbon?

Good to hear from you Shawn! I stopped by your shop while training down in Wilmington, N.C. (from Cincinnati) right after Hurricane Ivan passed. Nice shop, but hard to find tucked back off the road there!

lori is back with specialized and is probably riding the new transition tri-bike. i wonder if natascha got a new cheetah to replace the one that got wrecked before wildflower.

I agree. We will need some photos of some of the bikes. Especailly Macca’'s Kestral, Lessing’s Cervelo, DeBoom’s Trek, Reid’s Trek, Lori Bowden’s bike, Natascha Baddman’s bike, Fernanda Kellers Cannondale, Lisa B’s bike, I guess all of the top pros.

Looking foward to the Race. It should be awesome.

Didn’t I say a week or so ago someone would be on the P3SL??? Well, I’ve not seen Rhodesey yet or his new ride, but I saw Bjorn on his new P3SL this morning. Looks GOOD!
