Replacing fork on Scott Plasma

I was curious if its a good idea to replace the fork on a Scott Plasma LTD? I was thinking of replacing it with Easton or Oval. Just curious what peoples thoughts are.

my 2 cents…

I would say don’t do it, even though the plasma bladed fork isn’t the lightest in the world it handles/stears great at high speed…rock solid. Easton forks are nice and I’m sure lighter (depending on the model you buy) but not worth replacing your current set up. Oval is garbage.

Cheers.

The scott fork is quite long (measured axle to crown) so nearly any other fork you buy will be shorter - which lowers the front and steepens the head and seat tube angles. So you would affect handling and have to adjust your position. Probably not really worth doing.
