To any shop owners and competitive swimmers:
I need some assistance finding a replacement to the Speedo GCG’s. They fit me perfectly, I love the slight foam gasket and I’ve been in them for 6 years now. And or course, Speedo discontinued them. While I have about 5 pairs that are still functional in the pool, they’re all fogging up in about 10 min and thus I need some new ones. Any ideas for a replacement that doesn’t have a silicone gasket but isn’t a Swede? I have some Nike Remora Fem’s that are okay, but just a tad small for my eyes. They’ll do okay if there’s nothing else, but wondering if there’s anything else available that fits the bill.

ME TOO. I bought 12 pairs when I found out, but those won’t last forever…
I’ve been trying out some new styles to see if I can get anything to work out. Mostly sweede style, but with slight caskets or some sort. I don’t like the feel of the silicone suction, so I got some with hard silicone rubber gasket that fits inside the eye socket like a sweede. They’re all terrible, though don’t have the sharp edge at the nose that all my sweedes have had. My race this past weekend I pulled on the Nike Remora Fem’s and they were perfectly fine, just a touch too small for my eyes. They work in clean, open water, but I’m not sure about the seal in a pack. My GCG’s never gave me reason to question them. And I’m pretty sure the Remora Fem’s are discontinued, too. So no foam gasket racing goggles on teh market anymore. For shame. All replaced with the silicone.
I liked the GCGs too but have had decent luck with the Vanquisher as well. Above all, I think swedes are the best but I realize I may be in the minority on that one.
