One of my compression shorts is staring to come apart at the seams.
Any simple ways of fixing them? Are there any flexible iron-on patches?

Good old needle and thread have worked for me. Hope you had home-ec in school
Get with the program. Any triathlete worth his/her salt would simply buy new ones.

What kind of thread do you use?
I want something strong and flexible that is unlikely to tear again.
I’ve used superglue which has worked fine for me … just glue one side lightly and press both sides together for about 1 minute … then let it fully dry. Thread seems to just pull out of worn garments and being a guy poking my fingers full of needle holes trying to sew is never good;-). Works for a few months, but ultimately another spot wears out and its time for new. It does seem that newer compression garments seem to last a lot better than the original products.
