Renting & Riding in Boca/Delray FL

Hi,

I’m off to visit the 'rents for a week. Would love to get some warm-weather rides in while I can! Have an recommendations for a good shop where I can rent a bike and some good (and safe!) routes to ride on near Boca Raton/Delray Beach? I’d go as far as West Palm or Ft. Lauderdale to rent a bike if they are reasonably priced (for multi-day) and good shops.

Hi sg,

Try the Racer’s Edge, a bike shop in Boca. They may have a bike you could rent or they could point you in the direction of a place that could rent you a bike. Bike America in East Boca is another bike shop that caters to cyclists and triathletes. These shops can tell you about local group rides and good riding routes. A1A along the beach is a good, relatively safe ride around here. At least it has a bike lane.
