Is there an outfit that rents, say, Hed3’s or Zipp 404’s, for a weekend? I was thinking about this today, and I would love to drop a grand on some fancy carbon racing wheels, but that just isn’t going to happen any time soon. Next best thing, I guess, would be to borrow or rent a pair for a race. I suppose I would be willing to pay $50-$75 to race with them at a 1/2 or Full IM.
Bicycle Sports rents race wheels. I’m not sure they do this in general; they may only do this a events where they have their truck.

Inside Out Sports rents them in the SouthEast and most IMs for $150.
