I have read many great reviews of Renn-- but I seem to be the exception
I ordered a disc 4 weeks ago-- and was told that it would ship in about 2 weeks-- last Monday (3 weeks from ordering) I called them and was told that it would be shipped last Monday and I would get it in time for the weekend. Well so far no wheel – and my emails have gone unanswered and 2 bounced back this morning. I hate to be a pest-- as everyone has such high regard for their operation.
Any advice? Call again-- or be patient?
Well, I would be patient. The reason I say that is we have had excellent service from them. Now, that said, it is worth mentioning it is a rather small (at least right now…) operation and subject the attendant limitations of a smaller company.
But even with those limitations they do a great job. We’ve been getting orders consistently in 2 weeks and the product is great.
I’d hang in there. You have the misfortune of ordering at the absolute busiest time of the year.
I have to admit that Frank doesn’t answer much his emails.
However, he takes super extra care in having really really nice wheels. when making yours, if he thought that it wasn’t as true as he wanted, he would start again and do something as perfect as possible.
give him a bit of time, and you’ll get a super wheel at a super price. Give him a call if you want to know where the wheel is…
the wait is worth it and it’s always the case with smaller companies…you need to wait a bit more than big comp.
you sure won’t regret it.

It depends when you catch him. I’m hopefully switching to one of these later this year and he responded to me pretty quickly and was very helpful.
