Anyone have an opinion on whether the new Renn Madiera will be significantly faster than a HED3 rear on a P3SL, assuming rider is about 23MPH avg on a flat 1/3 IM course like Eagleman.
I’m sure you will get lots of opinions but mine is that discs are the fastest wheel you can have, not specifically a Renn Madeira (although that is a great disc, I own one) but if you can’t have a disc a tri spoke is the next best option.
It’s MADEIRA not Madiera… a portuguese Island where the wheel was first used.
And then, Renn Madeira is ultra light as Zipp 909 and dirty cheap if you compare with the HED3
I have an old school Renn disc that I bought on the cheap from All 3 Sports to replace my Hed 3 rear on my P3SL – enough said what I think. Go with the MADEIRA…it’s such an amazing value for a great disc…
