Renn Disc Availability

I’m seriously toying with the idea of purchasing a Renn disc wheel for my racing steed. I’ve made an inquiry with an on-line vendor and was told they have been out of stock for some time and don’t know when they will get more wheels from Renn. I don’t mind waiting a few weeks, but I’d like to get my wheel by early September at the latest.

Does anyone know if Renn is lagging on production given the high demand for their wheels? If so who (on-line) might still have some stock left, or when is the shortage expected to be plugged by newly minted wheels? I’m looking for a 650c tubular disc.

Thanks for any help. I’ll also need shipping to Taiwan.

I heard great things aboutit & decided to place and order for one. First I sent an e-mail asking to be contacted. Then about a week later I used their website & went ahead and placed an order. That was alomst a month ago & no one has ever contacted me. It appears that they aren’t available afterall.

All I can say is CALL FRANK at Renn Multisport. I placed an order on the phone on July 9th, and he said that i’ll get it before teh end of the month. Although this delivery date is alo dependent on location. David in Taipei, I’m sorry…, but I think it’ll take a little longer for the wheel to get to you.

I think Frank has unreliable email but he seems to answer the phone. He must be old school :slight_smile:

I’ll give Frank a call when the time difference allows. I think there’s about 13 hours between me and his digs in TN.

I did get an email explaining that Memphis was hit by a nasty storm and that they are unable to finish wheels right now.
