RECOVERY - Anyone use Clif Builder's Bars?

Seems like I’m constantly looking for something to eat post-workout that easy & convenient.

I’ve tried a few of the liquid mixes, but for many types of workout (like long runs), they don’t work well because they get hot sitting in the car. So, I’ve been relying on taking bagels, bananas, etc with me. which is fine, but something pre-packaged would be more convenient.

So, I’m curious if anyone’s tried the Clif Builder’s Bar, and wether you think they’re a good solution. (Of course, I’m open to other suggestions, as well.)

Thanks.

Steve

From my experience, they are the best tasting protein bars out there. I switch between them and the powerbar protein drinks.

I love them and eat them every day…As a snack and not for recovery. They taste great and the added benefit o the protein is a bonus.

A cooler or freeze the recovery drink! I also have started to down a Bolton House Farms Vedge drink (or V8). Tons of antioxidants, potassium and sodium.

I agree. I’ve tried lots of protein bars, the Cliff bars are the best ones out there. They’re all good, but I especially like the cookies & cream flavor.

Nestle Quick in a small cooler with an ice pack. Doesn’t get any better than that.
