Does anyone have experience with one of these? I want to get a smart trainer and thought this was a clever way to save a few bucks. Thoughts?
Where would you be buying it from? I don’t have personal experience with a Kickr but I’ve read, and personally seen, so many Kickrs need to be warrantied that I would never buy one without being 100% sure its still covered.

They are offered directly on the wahoo site with a 1 year warranty.
I’ve never bought a reconditioned KICKR, but I wouldn’t hesitate. I always buy manufacturer reconditioned units when possible, and my life history across many brands has been perfect. My key criteria is that the manufacturer did the recon and it comes with a manufacturer warranty.
I had to send back my 2018 Kickr for a replacement under warranty. I presume what I’ll be receiving is a “reconditioned” unit that they received from someone else and repaired, similar to what you would be receiving. I’ll let you know if I have any issues with the replacement unit after it arrives tomorrow
I got a 2018 kickr “reconditionedâ€, came without a scratch on it, and has worked just fine. Great way to save a couple bucks in my opinion.
