I’ve been having trouble finding a bike light that can be securely attached to my P2 seat post.
The seat post is an odd shape, most attachments don’t fit and I end up resorting to zipties, which frequently break and force me into buying another bike light as it flies off going 10s of miles per hour (literally)…
Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated! Search didn’t yield anything worthwhile…
+1 on the Specialized Stix Comp.
Love the fact that it is USB chargeable.
Make sure you get the Comp. There also is a model with 2 LEDs (not bright enough IMO).
I use the Specialized Stix Comp with the Aero Strap Mount on my 2011 Cervelo P2
Knog lights use silicon straps that should work with pretty much any shape. Not the most durable things in the world, but should work with whatever shape.

CATEYE Rapid. Use it on my P5, S2, Trek SC. Best i’ve ever used.
I just have a cheap light from my local shop that’s made for a round tube. Then I use a velcro cable organizing strap to strap it around the wider aero seat tube instead of using the short elastic band that came with it.
Light and motion makes a nice rubber aero mount. I use the serfas tl60 with the mount. The mount should make most lights very stable and stay pointing back, versus swiveling to the side.
We have a Dinotte 300R and Quad Red in the house. Put it on a myriad of bikes with the multiple mount options provided. On the P3, i use the small airfoil shape on the left seatstay low to the axle and beef it up with the extra rubber stripping. Works perfectly.
