wrap the tape over itself to hold it in place at the back of the bar
Or put one wrap of two sided tape, then start the bar tape over it…
Did you really need that much duct tape? I didn’t do the install but I did spec it except the carbon strykes. 
No slippage. Darrell hooked me up with these. He posts here from time to time so maybe he will comment.
If he had started the wrap on the bull horns the way he did on the aero’s, it would have been even cleaner.
Thx. Actually he did but the brake levers were installed by someone else and recabled much after the fact. The 188’s were on there b4 and the tape was tighter. Probably won’t deal with it until they wear out or I change aerobars.
