Curious why you didn’t take the 496 off the headtube? As I was removing the graphics, I thought I’d leave that “bit” on, and see how it looked. I like it.
You had DA on it before right? how is the shifting compared, i am debating SRAM Red/sram SRM or DA/DA SRM or SRAM Red/DA SRM. The shifters were stiff at first, but loosened up within the first 20 or so gear changes. The shifting is the same, I cant tell the difference between the two. I think if you want the best possible shifting, you’ve gotta get Campy Record…period. But, for a TT bike… what’d be the point?
Is cassette a red cassette? is it louder than a DA cassette? The DA cassette is quieter for sure, because its multipeice. I have both cassettes, am currently running an 11-26 RED for training that includes Palomar in the middle of my loop. The SRAM red is hollow and when you climb up into the 23t you can hear it. Is this an issue?..no. Its funny to me how people will discuss the “cool factor” of the noise made by a rear disc, yet whine about the “uncool” factor of the noise made by a hollow cassette. Ironic,… no?
that combined with a VO2 max of 78mils helps me out massively.
You and Lance Armstrong…except Lance was more like 76 ml/kg/min in his prime ; )
Correction Lance has a V02 max of between 82 a 85 the last time I checked dude. So not as good but then he’s a lot heavier then me (i think)
