Cycleops Powertap 2009 SL+ I went for it in black to match the bike better, looks and performs brilliantly. My training wheel has it on at the moment and will change it for race season. Rebuilt by the Zipp guys!!

How old are those drapes? They look like they’re from the early 60s. Nice bike though.

Doesn’t get much better than that! Great ride!

ha ha yeah i live in a military quarter and they come free!! as for the focus… i wouls say a 3 pretty poor matbe i should retake them on a brighter day outdoors!! thanks

You live in BOQ (or whatever) and spent that kind of coin on a bike?

Wow! Very nice bike. Might want to splurge on a camera?

If its call the stealth, I would go with a black saddle and black bar tape. nice ride

Yes thats an awesome idea I lke that!!! thanks I wil!!

  1. you can probably spend an equivalent amount of money as those wheels cost you on improving lower back flexibility and save twice the amount of time by getting lower and not having your stem stick up at a 70 degree angle.

  2. i like the saddle. felt is making some sexy shit these days.

  3. lose the bontrager bottle. it looks nasty on this bike. the gray doesn’t mesh with the other colours on the bike.

  4. if you’re going to put white bar tape on the aero extensions, you should do the same with the base bar. while i think white does look better than black in the bartape department, black’s alright, but you need to choose one or the other, not both.

  5. thank you for not buying clinchers. tubulars ftw.

Tegra!
Thanks for your comments. The reason I have a high stem angle is because I have a short torso and my Femurs are 2" longer than they should be, which is awesome as I have a better lever for cycling which improves power and saves energy, that combined with a VO2 max of 78mils helps me out massively. I still have a flat back, 90 degree angles in the elbows and Lewdged to ensure my knee alignment is perfect. My frontal area is minimised and most importantly its so comfortable, I researched for 8 months what components and fit I need and had a pro cyclefit with power to gain it and the felt was the best bike to fit all the criteria. The bike weighs just over 15lbs without powertap and bottles.
You’re so right about the bottle but that is getting sprayed with plastic resin to match the bike and the gold decals replaced by a custom silver version by a friend, complete with a union flag over the uhc decal. All done by airbrush. should be sweet and its free!!!
The bar tape is something that i am going to change so thanks for the advice awesome!!
Tubulars are awesome, briliant responce and feel but punctures are a nightmare, had 2 so far with Vittoria traithlons (IMO rubbish tubs)

One major problem, it needs to be at my house.

Man sweet bike, enjoy it.

I think Rappstar is going to be upset you stole his bike.

Does it fit properly?

…and get rid of the Zipp stickers on the wheels. Not “stealth”…

Very nice, but if you are aiming for stealth contact Tai for some graphite Zipp decals for the wheels and use black or graphite grey for the bar tape and saddle.

…and get rid of the Zipp stickers on the wheels. Not “stealth”…
If you remove the stickers do the wheels become slower?

I like Julian’s suggestion - blacked out stickers…

Yes I think he will but he gave me the tips of getting it together ie the brake problem, he has a sub9 disc so his is awesome. As for the zipp stickers I will have a think about that for sure thanks. Bar tape and saddle will be changed also at some stage. No rush to get it done, so long as its ready for my first priority A race in July. the ceramic bearings make a big diffeence that i never thought i would feel but that combined with the tubby feel makes for an awesome ride!!

All I can say is… damn.

(in the most complimentary way possible)

Who are TAI buddy? do you have a website?
