I realize it’s not the best way to write a first post, but I’m wondering if anyone has experienced osteoarthritis in their sternoclavicular joint (SC joint)? I had a bad mt bike crash which broke my collarbone in half, had it plated, then removed plate after a year, but inside of clavicle still hurt and got swollen with activity. Ortho says arthritis in SC joint. Also have a ~7mm cyst at the end of clavicle which goes into SC joint. Looks like an excision/resection of the affected part of clavicle might be a cure - has anyone had anything similar? Any thoughts? It’s been progressively getting more painful and can’t really train anymore.
