Hi Folks,
Recently the World’s Highest Ultra-Marathon (La Ultra - The High) was organized.
It was a crazy race with an average altitude of 13,500 feet.
The runners crossed 222 km of arid Himalayan Cold Desert of Ladakh, India by going over the two highest roads in the world both close to 18,000 feet.
British Ultra runner Mark Cockbain won the event in 48 hours 50 minutes.
Read the race report (each of the 3 days’ individual reports) to gauge the scale of this amazing ultra.
