Quintana Roo Wetsuits

Hi all,

Does anyone has any experience between the HYDROsix2 and HYDROfive2 wetsuits?

Am having a hard time deciding between either.

Lol.

I have the Hydro2 Six and overall have been really happy with it. The fit is spot on and it helped me to a Swim PR @ 70.3 Texas. (The swim conditions were also perfect  )

Only negative is that it appears to nick up really easily, so you just have to be careful putting it on, but i think that applies to all wetsuits.

There are some small differences and the six feels a bit more flexible in shoulders but they are really, really short in torso length. If you have a longer then a short torso these are a no go.

Nice. Thanks for the feedback.

I’m so paranoid on nicking of my suits tt the plastic bag for feet and hand entry, then a sock over the hand to pull up the suit is always a must…look like a Muppet, but oh well…lol

From the website, the shoulders are the same premium superstretch 1.5mm. only the side panel is a diff with premium superstretch 1.5mm on the Six and premium stretch 1.5mm on the Five. Guess it’s the diff.

Good thing I have a short torso. Hahaaha

Yes, that different stretch panel on the sides gives that little extra in the shoulders.

funny that they went from being one of the longest torso to be one of the shortest torsos since they came back to make wetsuits
