Hey,
I have just been curious as to what size frame would fit me best for Quintana Roo bikes, in particular the Seduza. I’ve been digging around but can’t seem to find a concrete answer. Anyone out there with a Seduza/similar frame want to share their sizing? I’m 5’11" and have a 31 inseam. I ride a size 58 on my current road bike, and the “large” frame from the QR websize says it is a 58, but that seems sort of general to me. i know i need to test ride to make sure they fit correctly and such, this is just a hypothetical question for a general sizing idea.
5’11", 185lb, 31" inseam…I have last year’s model of the Seduza and I’m 99% sure that it is a “Medium” frame. It’s a very comfortable ride for me. I’ll double check when I get home and let you know if I’m wrong on the size.
I am a similar size and I ride (and love) my medium Seduza. Your road bike is huge. My first bike, when I knew less, was a 58, went to a 56, and now my road bike is a Felt 54 and it amazing how much more comfortable and nimble I feel.
thanks for the replies! another question…when measuring an inseam, do you measure to your ankle, or all the way to the floor. if i stop at the ball of my ankle i’m a 31…if i go all the way to the floor i’m a 32.5 is there a specific way its one for bikes? is a 32.5 too big for a medium?
Meduim for sure x5 I have a 08 kilo and 08 lucero lite both meduim. I am 5’9 with 31 inseam. Guess you just have to play with stem sizes and angles to get best fit. I would also go with 170 cranks as that what seems to get most power out for me. Not that I have a power meter. Just by feel. I would guess to say the ball of your ankle just like a tailor.Would be a good Q for slowman.
I agree with the other responses, it sounds like your road bike it too large, I am 5’10 and ride a 56. Most of my friends who ride 58’s are 6’0 or taller. I would go medium, I have the Specialized Transition and ride a medium tt bike too.
Agreed with everyone else.
I’m 5’11", 31" inseam. Average build as far as leg v torso length.
I had a 56 specialized allez comp as a road bike, and i was amazed how much more comfortable i was going to a smaller frame, i was sooo stretched out on that one. your road bike sounds huge.
i ride a medium qr caliente, and though i haven’t gotten Fisted yet, it feels like it’s going to be great.

You should measure your inseam by standing barefoot with your feet nearly together and your back against a wall. Take a pencil lift it all the way up between your legs as high as you can get it. Keep the pencil exactly level and mark on the wall behind you. Then measure from the floor to the pencil mark. This is your inseam length for purposes of bike fit.
More important than your height and inseam is your torso and arm length. The more important fit coordinate is the top tube length of the bike.
