I am new and never touched a wetsuit. I just ordered a Zoot Wave 2 to see how it fits/feels. I wonder if I should also order a Roka Maverick Pro and ty it as well, then return the one I dont like?
Or, do you think I am good with the Zoot Wave 2? Since it will be my 1st, will I even notice a difference in the two wetsuits?
I am able to try these on, but not test them in the water. So, I will not know which one is actually the best feeling in the water. But, I am in a hurry and need to start swimming in one ASAP to be used to it for New Orleans.
I have a (female) Maverick Pro and love it. It replaced an older Zoot that was great, but the Maverick is much better. Easy on the shoulders as long as I scootch the arms up so there is wiggle room and plenty of bouancy around the legs. But, trying both would be a good plan just to make sure.

My Zoot just arrived. Havent tried it on.
Might as well get as many as you can test. I’ll toss a recommendation out there for a BlueSeventy Helix. I also personally really love sleeveless suits as well. Always have. Swimming in a wetsuit is a little different so don’t be afraid to even find a pool or something.

Maverick wetsuits tend to feel tighter on land than in the water. If your suit is a little tight on land, you can be assured that it will loosen up once you get in the water
