Question Power Cranks

I’m getting more and more interested in these things. But have a question. The Pez review said they operate independently of each other, so the downstroke doesn’t help the other leg’s upstroke. If thats the case, couldn’t this result in not having equal crank arms, like you put crank arms on a slightly different spline on an ISIS BB (does that makes sense?) I’m thinking if your upstroke is weak it will lag behind the other leg’s downstroke. Or is this exactly the point of PCs? So eventually both legs will spin equally. Anyone been using these things? Worth it? I already have a Power Tap, and power is definately something I need to improve (5’11" and 138 lbs doesnt put out much wattage) but man these things are pricey.

You got it - PC’s provide instant feedback on your pedal stroke for each leg independently (among other benefits). Plenty of posts on this forum that describe people’s experiences w/ using them. Just search threads for Power Cranks.

Check out the website. They offer a 3 month money-back guarantee.

PowerCranks™ are so effective we offer everybody (and we do mean, everybody), a 90 day “ride/run faster” money-back guarantee.

You have 3 months to decide, based upon your own experience, as to whether they will work for you, as we claim.

I’m not paid or compensated by them, but I own a set and I AM a believer. Once I got up to speed on them, I would never send them back. However, this is a risk-free product - use them. If you don’t like them or the results, send them back. I’d be willing to bet if you put the time into them, you won’t end up sending them back.
