Yes, qualified for Kona in my first IM race–IMFL in 1999.

I guess since there aren’t many replies that means you’re one of the few who qualified in your first IM.

Qualifed 1st try at the Muncie Endurathon a loooong time ago It came too easy for me, though, and I burned out physically about 5 years after that. Too much training, too much racing.

I didn’t reply not because you’re not cool…but because I’m not cool enough to have qualified. But if I ever do I can say that it wasn’t on my first attempt because I already did that.
