Any word on when the new front wheel will be available?

UGH…we missed a “production window” (add that one to the biz lingo). these types of rims are in high demand right now and renn multisport is not very high up on most manufactures importance lists. i noticed a thread about the hed carbonlite and someone refering to it as vaporware. don’t be too quick to blame the hed people for delays. there is usually more going on then you could imagine. i can only say i am doing my best and i will not release a date until the rims are sitting on my shop floor. sorry

Ouch, sorry to hear that. What is the current wait time on a tubular 575 in 700c ?
first campy hubs will be here today or tomorrow. they were in OH last i checked. we will start shipping wheels already ordered by the end of this week. anything ordered today if it is a clincher will be 2-3 at worst (after we get the hubs everything will be on my shop floor so this is accurate). tubulars are 5-7 weeks (based on what the rim supplier is telling me…not as accurate).

It was mid-April for the Campa-disc. But is this date still valid? And do you still have problems with hub availability?

I just ordered a disc from you, so projected time is 5-7 weeks. Ouch. Oh well, just so long as I get it before June I oughta be fine. (I guess I shoulda ordered sooner.) Thanks, looking forward to riding it.

Received my new Renn disc on Friday of last week. I used it over the weekend in an Olympic distance event. What a great product! I could see a marked improvement in speed on the downhills and flats. My top speed on some downhills was quite a bit faster then previous years doing this same race. Since I essentially costed down the hills it should give a fairly good indication of increased speed. I was reaching speeds in excess of 40 mph whereas in years before it took effort to get to 40 mph. Not exactly scientific but at least in my mind it made for a faster bike.
By the way Frank’s customer service is outstanding. He was having some delays in getting the hubs needed for my wheel but because he knew I had a race he busted his butt to get it to me in time. I would recommend the product 100%! Thanks Frank.
