A question about the Quarq Red OmniCal feature. On their website it states:
Omnical™: Power measurement is independent from chainring selection. Swap chainrings without impacting accuracy.
Does chainring size impact the calibration? It seems it might, but I don’t know for sure. If I go from a 53/39 to a 54/42 (who am I kidding a 50/34 to a 52/36) would the calibration change? Or does OmniCal only apply to chainrings of the same size?

It’s designed so that there is no need to recalibrate even if you change chain ring size unlike previous models that would to be recalibrated.

Hugh
And chain ring brand?
That’s my understanding but one really should discus this with the crew at Quarq to be 100% certain.
