After two seasons of dealing with numbness/loss of feeling in the “pudendal nerve” area, I finally went to see a chiro. Hips and legs are even and aligned and I’m currently getting 4-6 treatments of active release therapy. Chiro told me I have scar tissue around the pudendal nerve
Anyway, I rode on a saddle that was slightly too wide for my sit bones for two seasons and am now on one that feels much better (bought it after being measured at my lbs). Anyone experience this issue, and is this more of a bike fit problem or a saddle problem?

ahem, ahem madam
Pudendal nerve impingement has nada to do with “hips and legs even and aligned”.
Take it from another DC, chiros cannot dx “scar tissue around the pudendal nerve” !!
methinks you are signing up to be felt up.
Made up diagnosis in my opinion. Many of those symptoms can and most often do have nothing to do with the pudendal nerve impingement.
You are being taken advantage of big time. Find another provider and quickly.
is this more of a bike fit problem or a saddle problem?
yes. That is, it’s both in all likelihood.
First thing is to run far away from this chiro.
Second thing is to get a decent bike fit. Take the fitter’s advice on saddles, and try a few different ones if possible.

I hope you got this resolved, but if not, let me be first to tell you that it is a very real problem and can effect more than just that area. My saddle not being wide enough for my sit bones and narrow enough up front was the cause of my problem. I was basically making a nerve sandwich between my sit bone and my saddle. It caused me pain for 6 months before I figured it out (2 doctors were clueless and told me it was sciatica). It could be a bike fit issue, but likely only if the saddle is too high. It’s more than like a saddle issue. I have been through 4 and the last 3 I could feel the pain come back within 30 minutes. It took me getting off the bike for 6 weeks for the pain to completely disappear.
It is somewhat resolved. After trying many different saddles, I found a Terry saddle that seems to work. It is wide enough so my sit bones are sitting comfortably, and the cutout and tilt works with my anatomy as well. The only negative is how heavy and large it is compared to the rest of my bike, but if it avoids nerve discomfort, I’ll take it.
The ART from the chiro did seem to help alleviate some of the pain from the scar tissue around the area, even though I only went three or four times. Between that and the saddle, I haven’t lost feeling in that area since two racing seasons ago - this past one was fine.
I feel like I’ve made the turn for the better as well the past few weeks after switching to a specialized romin evo. Those ISM, Cobb, etc saddles just tore me up. Dry needling, airrosti and ART all helped me get over it as well.
