Anyone have recos for ones that specialize in triathletes/atheletes preferably in the East bay or San Francisco area?
Been having lingering back issues im trying to sort out and the current PT works mostly with elders
I have a fantastic PT, but all the way up in Auburn. Guessing that’s too far, but if not let me know and I’ll send his info.
He fixed a “foot” issue I’ve been dealing with for over a decade. Turns out I have a pars fracture in my back, causing a bulging disk, creating a nerve impingement. I can’t even count the number of doctors, tests, etc. I’ve had over the years. Only to have a PT connect the dots and get me back to 100%.
I went to Dr. Anh Bui in Oakland. I only saw her twice, once for an evaluation and initial PT plan, and one follow up with tweaks to my PT plan. Unlike other PTs I’ve been to, I wasn’t asked to come in every week for several weeks just to have the PTs watch me do my exercises. However, she is running focused and out of network:

Presidio Sports medicine is the go to for a lot of athletes. It is run my a lady that has done triathlons for 30 years, and they do just about everything one could imagine in the rehab arena.
