PSA: Garmin Edge 500 2.60 Firmware Available

FYI, if you have a Garmin Edge then go download the 2.60 firmware.

Changes from version 2.40 to version 2.60:
Improved course performance and corrected an issue that could cause some courses to stop processing.
Added a torque reading to the calibration page for PowerTap power meters.
Improved Auto Pause behavior.
Improved auto wheel calibration especially for PowerTap power meters.
Improved correlation of speed sensor data and GPS data.
Totals can now be cleared.
Corrected an issue that could prevent an Activity from being reset.
Prevent an incorrect date/time from being displayed.
Improved battery gauge readings.
Removed DeleteFiles folder.

This was the biggest for me. The firmware seems to be working well on my end. People on the garmin forums are still reporting all kinds of little issues though.

I don’t think those do anything for me and mine still works so i’ll keep on truckin with 2.4

This is a good update. Maybe this year it won’t say my IMLP bike split was 117 miles.
