Prologo Nago EVO TTR and Nago EVO Tri 40 comparison

I’ve been very happy riding a Prologo Scratch Pro Nack. I’m looking at their TT/tri models but I’m a bit confused.

  • both are offered with the same Nack (Carbon/kevlar) rail
  • similar weights
  • similar base mould

The only noticeable differences are in length. The TTR model is a little shorter; assuming UCI rule compliance, and the TRI model has a smaller slide control zone.

Has anyone ridden either of these two saddles in a position to offer any insights or thoughts?

Bumping up this old thread; any real difference between the TTR & Tri40? Thinking of trying them out in my hunt for comfort…

I never did a get a good answer regarding the differences between the TTR and Tri versions of the saddle. In the end I went for the TTR, but switched a couple of weeks latter as I struggled to get on with it. I settled on an ISM Adamo Racing 2, which I’ve been very happy with.

cheers Greg, I’m going the other way as the adamo caused me lots of chafing but no numbness. Adamo’s are a bit of a no-brainer really, of course you get reduced numbness 'cos you’re perched on the prongs & sat way forward but problem for me was I sat up - so, OK for racing but not that great for training rides. See there’s a new adamo out now which is supposed to be narrower which I may try.

Why not use the “contact” on the Prologo website & ask them yourself. I found them to be quite responsive when emailing them.

TTR is thicker and shorter, the Tri40 has longer narrower nose for longer distance riding. I wanted mine for an IM so ordered the Tri40 and didn’t realise that they had put on a TTR till I’d ridden it for a few weeks but I actually really like it. Def has a thicker shorter nose so you can get more aero not that I do much.
