This is a 100% carbon seat/seatpost (okay- 99% carbon and 1% epoxy glue). It is not anywhere near completed. I am going to add another six layers of carbon at the seat/post junction, then finish out the seat. I was toying with using texalium, as I did find a source for it, but have thought better of it.

Oh, no- it IS an aero seat/seatpost. It is obscured with tape to facilitate proper curing.
Forecasted weight: 200 grams complete. This is, however, a traditional seatpost, as a “compact” post/saddle assembly would weigh considerably more.
