Profile design wetsuit-which is the best?

For those who have tried this wetsuit, I ask:
Which one is there top of the line model?

The website lists several but Im not sure which one to go with.

Also is this a entry level wetsuit company? I know they just got into wetsuits.

thanks

I have never used or tried on a wetsuit and there sizing chart is keeping me guessing…

I am 6 foot 3 inches long arms and legs, small torso, 168 pounds.

Sizing chart makes me think XL, even though the Large seems a little tighter?

They are not that entry level in the wetsuit business. Their designer began at QR I think. I do know that she was with Zoot and deigned the zenith. You will see the similarities. I demo’d all of them last year. I like the wahoo sleeveles and actualy used for a 7.5 mile swim. I like sleeveless because I am a swimmer first. I am a big fan of their suits. I am 6’ 170. I wore a med.

Should I go for sleeveless if I live in florida? Does having sleeves give you more of an advantage over not having them if im not the best of swimmers? I do want to start ocean swimming when the water is still in the 60’s.

Tough choice help me out slowtwitch!

Also should i go with the Large or XL… :frowning: 6ft 2inch almost 3 inch and I weigh 175-178

They are really just relatively new, as they were just Aquaman wetsuits with Profile branding for a couple of years. Yes, the designer was with QR, Zoot, etc. I don’t know much about their suits, but I would guess they are still very similar to Aquaman.

Probably a large. Find a dealer and try it on. I will always say sleeveless. I hate the shoulder constriction I get from every full suit i try. 60 degree water is chilly but, if your core is covered i’d say your arms will be fine. There is an advantage for having a full suit. I don’t see a difference because comfort is more important. I am a swimmer though so it’s going to be up to you. Think of how much you will lose being uncomfortable compared to some arm coverage.

To reply to this post, and make sure you are not confused, the Profile Design wetsuits are now very different from the Aquaman line. One of the big difference is that they don’t use the GIGA # 40 on the shoulders and neck like Aquaman does and that alone make a world of difference.

Thanks for the clarification, Emmanuel. I have always been the biggest fan of Aquaman and feel they are at the front of the pack in ITU especially for a very good reason.

Aquaman could be in the front of the pack in all distances if athletes want to give it a try.

I completely agree!
