I’m not sure why everyone focuses so much on Profile design bars, other than they are ubiquitous and flood the stores. Several years back, a friend told me to get Syntace C-3 clip ons, and they were the most amazing bars ever. I do not have the new generation Syntace’s, having backed off from racing for a few years. You could not get them in the US for a while, but they seem to be back. If they are half as good as my old C-3’s, they are already 10X as good as any Profile Design bar.
PD bars are decent but you need to make sure you get the one’s with aluminum arm rests. I’ve had T1 and they were Ok. Liked the look of T3 but didn’t like them on the bike. Have T4’s now and think they are pretty good overall. Lot’s of adjustability.

Have a TDs and they are pretty goof, quite comfortable and they have plenty of adjustment.
