Our new rear mount systems will be available by the end of this month.
The specific one in the picture you have is called the RM10 - designed for the Ritchey Saddle Clamp. The RMP is a similar design that clamps to the saddle rails.
Excellent! Thank you. What’s included and whats the MSRP please?
doesn’t look like it, but guess i’ll ask anyhow–any of that carbon?
MSRP is $89.99
It includes the bracket and our new Vise Kage
The RM10 is unique it the way it mounts. Rather than providing mounting bolts to mount inside the seat post tube seperate from the saddle rail clamp, it is designed to replace the barrel nuts used to help clamp the saddle. Its a bit difficult to explain in words so we will have a video to show how that works.
It does not include any carbon bits but does come in light weight at 93g for the RMP and 135g for the RM10.
The RM-10 is made for the P5 and Scott Plasma correct? The attachment you make is 1 bar coming out the rear of the seatpost on those models? That mean nothing needs to be attached to the saddle?
Looks pretty sweet in that we can angle the bottle cage…
Yes, it will work for the P5 or SCOTT Plasma - it’s actually mounted to a Plasma seatpost in that photo.
We’re happy to hear you appreciate the feature. The Eliptical Arch is designed to allow you to place the bottle as close to and under the saddle as possible.
Should I order through Profile? or who will be the first to carry it?
Your best bet is to order through your IBD - find it here… http://www.profile-design.com/index.php?cID=146
Does this work with the Adamo style saddle?
The RMP is compatible with the Adamo saddles.
to resurrect this thread - I am worried that especially 2 bottles will put unreasonable strain on the seatpost.
Is anyone using it succesfully?
or is it better to use RMP version ?
My turn to thread dig: did you end up buying an RM10, and if so do you have any feedback?
