Profile CGT Aerobars - opinions?

Seeking opinions on Profile’s new CGT Aerobars. They appear to be really adjustable, which I like. What I’m not so sure about is whether or not Profile has significantly improved their overall product quality. I recall several years back hearing numerous complaints about the poor quality of Profile products, so I’ve always steered clear. Are they doing better these days?

I currently have Syntace C2’s and love the quality and rock-solid feel of them. I think the set I have are “Mediums”, and they just feel a little too long. I’m trying to decide whether just getting the C2’s in “Small” would be the answer for me, or if I should switch completely and try the CGT’s.

Any input appreciated.

By the way, if anyone is looking for a set of Syntace C2’s in “Large”, I have a brand-new, in the box set that I never used. They’re probably about 4 years old, but again, never used. I’d be happy to send 'em off to someone for, say, fifty bucks?

TriBaby

I’ve had them for about a year. No problems with quality. Overall I’m pleased with the product.

Pros:

Shape of the extensions is really nice, they seem to mold to my hand (worth the money over the regular jammers)

Cons:

Extensions scratch easily from the mounting bracket.

Armrests tend to rotate on the extensions if you hit a big hole.
