Anyone have a proform treadmill? care to share a review?
Thanks
I put in a bit over 2000 miles on my last one and it’s still going. Proforms are inexpensive and provide more cushioning than the road (obviously) and mine provided a more responsive deck than some comparable treadmills like Nordictracks.
Reviews vary on these but a few years ago it was just me and my kids for a while so all my training was indoors as they were too young to be left alone. I bought a proform treadmill that was ~ $900 new. For about 2 years I used it 3 times a week for runs that ranged 4 to 12 miles. I am about 260 pounds and it held up fine. My mom now has it and walks on it. My only issue was that my swear would water log the display after an hour to the point I couldn’t read it. It would dry out in a couple of days but was never perfect. I took to putting cooking wrap over it.
I have had mine since 2005 and have no idea how many miles are on it but it is still going strong. I’m a pretty big guy (200 lbs) and still no issues.
I bought one a year ago and it’s been good. Probably has a couple hundred miles on it and the only thing I noticed is a bit of a squeak if I stride in the middle of the tread.
I spent more for the wifi stuff and workout plans so my wife could use them and we’ve used these feature 0 times
There is a thread titled treadmill advice where there are some more reviews of proforms, as well as true and sole. My take away from it was sole was the most reliable in the 1000-1500 range. You may want to read it yourself though, I have been told my reading comprehension is not A+ material.
