What was the retail price for the 2007 Cervelo Soloist Dura Ace? What would you expect to pay for it now? Any ideas, I did a quick search online but couldnt really find anything. (Sorry if you find it rude to ask what some of you may have paid, I apologize).
It’s a two year old bike but one with a higher than normal resale value. I’d follow ebay for awhile to get a guestimate.
To get the original price google for “wayback machine” and then type in the current Cervelo website url. You can get the 2007 website from this.
WayBack machine says the prices were as follows:
Soloist Team:
$1300 USD frame / $2200 USD bike (doesn’t say components)
Soloist Carbon:
$3200 USD frame / $4500 USD DA complete
Soloist Superlight:
$4500 USD frame
So, assuming that they said $1300 for DA and components, I’d put a SLC-SL at ~$6800. Because it’s a Cervelo, it’s going to (as cerveloguy said…) have a much higher than normal resell value.

$4500 for the 2007 bike new. I’ll take a guess that you should get 25% off no problem. Of course that is just a guess, but then in these trying economic times who knows, you might find a motivated seller willing to sell for quite a bit less.

I doubt it…if it is new. It is the exact same bike as the newest. I would not doubt 25 off full list, but not 25 off of actual retail price.
I was thinking that the OP meant the price for a second hand 2007.
Ahhhh…I am used to thinking about the Soloist Carbon DA 08 56 that I am trying to sell…new.
