President Bush Fittness

I’m sure the media hates to publish these facts but read the following article. Especially those of you who are from SanFrancisco.

BUSH EXERCISES 6X A WEEK; ‘MOST-FIT’ PRESIDENT IN HISTORY

President Bush turned 59 years old this month and his health is in the “superior” fitness category for men his age – greater than 99% percentile for 55-59 year-old men!

The latest health results make Bush the “most-fit” president in modern history.

He has not had a sick day in the past year – and he works out 6 days a week: Workouts include bicycling (15-20 miles, 15-18mph), treadmill (low impact “hill-work”), elliptical trainer, free weight resistance training, and stretching.

The President takes a daily multi-vitamin, low-dose aspirin, glucosamine/chondroitin, and an omega 3 supplement.

Bush Weight: 191 pounds(last year 199)

Body Composition: Body fat 15.79% (last year 18.25%; normal for age 16.5-20.5%)

Resting heart rate (seated): 47 bpm

Resting blood pressure (seated): 110/64

While our past Mr. Clinton was busy having fun one way or the other.

Well, that sure means he is the right choice to lead the country doesn’t it?

You must be torn: Texas guys stick together and French at the same time…hmm what to do
.

I disagree. I would rather have a fat, undisciplined, elitist socialist who can’t keep his d#&K out of his employees mouths leading the country

well, my answer was kinda sarcastic…and nothing wrong with not being able to keep your d… oh well, never mind

Well at least he’s PHYSICALLY fit.

Is there a point to this?

Are nou saying physical fitness equates to success as a President?

Well Theodore Roosevelt musta sucked, partially blind, asthmatic, and wheelchair bound because of Polio.

I’m not a Bush fan on many topics, but I think that it’s fantastic that he promotes exercise from the White House.

The thing I found interesting about the story I read on this topic this weekend was this moralistic little closer they had that said something to the effect of “Most of us don’t have jobs easy enough to fit excercise in our lives.”

You know, as if taking care of your health was somehow a sign of moral turpitude.

are you sure that was Theodore Roosevelt?

I agree with you on this. This is the reason I posted it. But some people can’t get over losing two in a row.

are you sure that Theodore Roosevelt?

Opps wrong Roosevelt.

But Teddy was blind as a bat too.

Agreed…the guy is amazing in his ability to keep fit and fit it into his hectic schedule. If the President can find time to exercise given the demands of his job than no one can make the excuse that they don’t have enough time.

The dude reminds me of a European.

He takes about 6 weeks a year in vacation time, he works about 40 hours a week, spends a lot of quality time with his family, and is generally in better physical shape than the average American.

Vive Presidente Bush!

Did you sign his timesheets? How do you know what kind of hours he works?

In addition, fyi, the President is never off duty or off the clock. He’s the President.

The responses to this post simply verify what I already knew. This country is doomed.

Politics has ascended to the level of the cold war…just wondering what will be the straw that finally “brings the wall down”.

We all have our strengths.

Brian you’re the one claiming he has a “hectic schedule” … have you seen his timesheets?

Its common knowledge that Bush is not a burner of the midnight oil and that he spends less time in the office than any President in modern history. Clinton was a workaholic, Bush is not.

I will fight with anyone who doesn’t think “Wayne’s World 2” is hilarious.

As previously mentioned, no President is off the clock.

To suggest otherwise is ignorant.
