Prescription Swim Goggles - Recommendation

I am tired of swimming blind and am looking to buy prescription swim goggles. I typically swim with Aqua Sphere Kayenes and like the bigger goggles. Any recommendations?

Get the diopter closest to your prescription and you are good to go. I have a lot of correction and buy the -8 Tyr’s. They are not big, but they work great

How big is your nose? Seriously. I find the biggest hindrance to a good fit on prescription goggles in the size of my nose.
I’m typically altering my goggles. I love Kayenes, but the lack of prescription is a problem for me. The aquasphere prescription goggles fit quite well, but they are HUGE.

I had the same experince and went to these http://www.amazon.com/View-Swimming-Gear-TUV-3A-Liberator/dp/B0014D6HS6

They’re good, the changable lenses ment I could fiddle around deciding if I needed -2.5 or -3 etc. I now wear them for everything, open water, pool squad and nights out on the town when I want to get my funk on.

I use these www.aquagoggles.com - can do positive and negative prescriptions and if your eyes are different you can select different left and right strength lenses.

Sable Optics. Not inexpensive, but the lens quality is superb.

I got mine from here they are very nice for the price

I use these speedo’s. http://www.swimoutlet.com/product_p/7789.htm
At this cheap price, I can have a couple pair, not worry about if they get scratched up.
Plus- they come with 4 different sized nose pieces. Important fit aspect for me as my eyes are a little closer together than most people’s.

Nothing fancy- but they work, don’t leak, and if I use drops, stay fog free.

I’m myopic enough that I’d have to special order prescription goggles from a limited number of styles that leak badly because they don’t fit my face.

So I go with the contact lenses + regular goggles route, and that works way better for me than prescription goggles do.

I have had really great success with the View Liberator goggles. Cheap and effective with excellent vision. You can find them at: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-viwpcl/view-swim-platina-corrective-lens You must buy the actual Liberator goggles first and then get the corrector diopter lens for each eye. Approximately $25 for two lenses and goggles.
