Powertap SL+ and 310xt setup and calibration

I am committed to acquiring an SL+, but am debating if I “need” the cpu. Some reading tells me I can forego the cpu, but I am not sure how easy the setup and day-to-day use would be without it. I currently have a 310xt and was wondering if I can just get by using that? I realize the 310xt won’t be able to display the extra data, but if it displays my watts (and I know my LT zones) what more would I really need?

Any thoughts would be helpful, thanks.

me too. have you seen any good deals out there for the SL+? there were 6 mos ago but most places seem to be out of them by now

I’ve been trolling the classifieds in search for something that meets my needs. Having said that, if there is a great deal out there I call dibbs first! :wink:
