I have an old PT that I’m actually no longer using, but it has my disc cover so looking to see if I can just swap the freehub so I can run it as a race wheel with the cover. I’ve seen that the Novatec freehub’s should work for the PT, but I’m not clear which one I need, the B2 or A2. I believe the Pro+ is for a 15mm axle so I think it’s the B2, but looking for confirmation from anyone - along with whether it worked well for their PT. Also open to other choices, thanks.
Just use a milled cassette
.
That seems like more effort than just buying a new free hub….
Mill the freehub instead
.
Not really. As easy as swapping the casstte to a milled one. Easiest way to use 11 on 10 speed hub. I run that on all my race wheels.
That also means the added expense of another 12 speed cassette. Seems the free hub would be a less expensive option.
He needs the cassette anyway.
I already have the cassette. Which brings me back to the original question of one of the Novatec free hubs working on my PT…
