Powertap 80s

Okay, so I am finally looking into training with a power meter. Of course, I am always looking for components that do double-duty and I need a TT wheel for windy days when the disc can’t be used, so I am considering having Wheelbuilder build up a Flash Point 80 with a Powertap hub.

Other than the heavier weight (as compared to a standard rim), can anyone tell me why this is or isn’t a good idea?

If you are used to training with power (or want to start training with power) I think it’s a good thing. I have a PT on an 808 as my TT wheel. I wanted to know what I was doing in races as opposed to just training with the PT and using a non power tap wheel for races.
