Post Ironman fatigue (1)

Who else has it? I have always contended that supporting an athlete can be more exhausting than actually doing it. Couple that with demoing shoes for 7 days has depleted the engine.

Who else is having a hard time rolling outof bed?

Not having that issue. Completed my first Iron about 3 weeks ago. Took 4 days off and then immediately got back to a lot of running. I have a marathon in November, so maybe having a another goal helps with the focus.

I think that recovery also depends on your age, genetics, lifestyle, etc. I would say if the fire isn’t there right now, don’t force it.
