Pools in Auburn Hills Michigan

Since the Boyz over at Swimmersguide.com have decided to go political. Can someone tell me were there is lane swimming on Thursday mornings in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I’ll be staying at hotel row near the DCX Featherstone Facility.

Oakland University is just down the road from DCX: http://www.oakland.edu/unit/campus_rec/index.html. Call and see if they’ll let you in.

Try to talk your way into Oakland U. It’s very close and a great pool.

The next nearest pool with open lap swim I can think of is Cranbrook. Its roughly 10 miles from where you are staying. The schedule says they have lap swim on Thursdays from 6:45 am - 8:00 am for a daily guest fee. Its a great pool. My kids train there in the winter.

So does anyone understand the rationale in swimmersguide.com in not listing pools in states that have passed a defense of marriage act to state that homosexual can’t get married, but at the same time listing pools in Islamic countries that interpret the Koran to require them to kill homsexuals? Seems a tiny bit inconsistent to me, but they wouldn’t answer this question when I asked them.

Thank’s guys. I was there last week. So, I’ll keep these places in mind for my next trip. We’re launching a few new vehicle programs so I’ll probably have to be out there a lot the next few months.
